Dr Maria Liddy

Dr Maria Liddy studied medicine at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and completed her GP training in London, UK. She has worked as a junior doctor in Sydney and is very excited to be returning to live and work in Australia as a qualified GP in August 2021.

Maria has a wide range of post graduate diplomas in child health, women’s health, care of the elderly and dermatology. She enjoys all areas of general practice and has a special interest in child health including child immunisations, women’s health and care of the elderly. Throughout Maria’s career she has been involved in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate medical training. Maria speaks fluent Portuguese and basic Spanish. When she isn’t working she is busy cycling, gardening and running after her five young children!

- Mirena/Intrauterine Device (IUD) insertion and removal
- Implanon insertion and removal
- Sizing and fittings of vaginal pessary for prolapse
- Antenatal shared care
