Nurse Joanna – Practice Nurse

Joanna is an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse with a strong passion for primary care and preventative health.

She holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Western Sydney, Hawkesbury (Class of 1997), and also completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology Sydney, showcasing her broad academic interests and commitment to lifelong learning.

For the past seven years, Joanna has worked as a GP nurse in Sydney, where she has developed deep expertise in delivering patient-centred care. She thrives on building meaningful connections with patients and takes a proactive, problem-solving approach to support the best possible health outcomes.

Earlier in her career, Joanna travelled extensively across Australia and internationally, discovering a passion for remote area nursing—an experience that gave her invaluable skills and a holistic perspective on healthcare.

Outside of work, Joanna enjoys exploring remote bush trails and taking on adventure challenges, always embracing new experiences with energy and enthusiasm
