Lachlan Bruce
Physiotherapist
Lachlan has had a wealth of experience treating the full spectrum of patients with musculoskeletal issues. He has worked with elite athletes (such for events like XGames, Nitro Circus Live) as well as for residents in a number of local retirement villages and is a huge advocate for helping each patient obtain their own “personal best”, regardless of their starting point.
Lachie is skilled in manual therapy to alleviate acute pain, as well as exercise prescription aimed at reducing pain recurrence or at improved sports performance. He also has specific training in the niches areas of concussion management, which focuses on returning clients as quickly but safely as possible to “normal” life as well as “blood flow restriction training” which enables rapid strength gains post injury or surgery.
He was the on-field physiotherapist for the A-res BTH soccer team and has a background himself as a competitive swimmer. He is a well- known personality in the world of Surf Lifesaving, dedicating many hours of voluntary work for Manly Surf Lifesaving Club as a coach for developing athletes as well as competing in national surf lifesaving competitions.
Lachie is excited to be working closely with the doctors at Terrey Hills Medical Centre to facilitate a team approach to total patient care.
